Some of my friends like to refer to me as the “green-smoothie girl” and I couldn’t agree more. Wether I am home or traveling, you can easily find me enjoying a smoothie once a day. This is a really refreshing and naturally sweet smoothie. It is pretty difficult for me to form muscle so I like to make this smoothie after a work out – it is loaded with natural muscle-building protein.
Green & Lean Shake
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
- handful of ice
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 3 kale leafs
- 1/2 cup Bai Congo Pear
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla coconut milk
- 1 tbsp whey protein (I use Source Organic)
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- handful of pineapple
- handful of blueberries
DIRECTIONS
- Simply place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy with a sprinkle of cinnamon!
